Listen to Ecstatic Vision’s dangerously destructive jam “You Got It or You Don’t”

Philadelphia noise collective Ecstatic Vision has their new record Raw Rock Fury coming out April 7th on Relapse Records. To hold us over until then, the band released “You Got It or You Don’t”, an almost eight-minute jam that completely justifies the name of their album.

The extended track time blasts through its runtime in a powerful fashion, complete with the lo-fi sounds of Philadelphia’s basements paired with some more jazz-like instrumentation, especially when that sax pops out of nowhere. Vocals grow with anger, eventually smoothing out into some below the table spoken world, echoing with every slam of the snare. It’s a grand ol’ time for anyone looking for a little more dirt in their shoes, as Ecstatic Vision asks their Bandcampers “Do you miss the days when rock recordings were dangerous?”
