At The Drive In shocked a very niche part of the world with a gigantic reunion tour was supposed to take them all across this great country — but derailed shortly after an an insane gig at The Fillmore last June. To pick up where they left off and continue giving their fans multiple heart attacks, the band announced in•ter a•li•a, its first record in 17 years, due out on May 5th via Rise Records. With the announcement, the band also released their first single from the record “Incurably Innocent”.

Described as “a song about sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out” by lead singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala, some serious Dead Kennedy vocal vibes lead a slightly slower jam for the band, as the single finds a sound with room to breathe. While the lyrical video finds a filthy and graffitied city, ATDI tightens their sound to an almost pristine condition, and clear-as-day guitars slide with the rhythm to create another classic anthem from the El Paso boys.

Watch the lyric video below, and find the tracklist/artwork for in•ter a•li•a.
