Chicago’s annual summer gathering of the musical tribes — The Pitchfork Music Festival –– has announced that LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest & Solange will headline the 2017 fest.
The Pitchfork Music Festival returns to Chicago’s Union Park, the weekend of July 14th through July 16th. Tickets are available here. The rest of the lineup will be announced this week.

Additionally, the Pitchfork Music Festival is honored to announce a special collaboration with Saint Heron, the innovative label and arts platform founded by Solange Knowles. The Saint Heron-curated event series will feature an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, late night jazz jam sessions, and more. These will take place from Thursday, 7/13 through Sunday, 7/16 at various locations throughout Chicago.
BTW, LCD Soundsystem expects to release a new album this year, according to James Murphy.
