Listen to Vita and the Woolf’s hungry electro-rock track “Feline”

Dark electro-pop duo Vita and the Woolf have a lot of big things happening right now. The Philly band’s new LP, Tunnels, comes out this spring, and they currently have a supporting slot on tour with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, leading to a set at Firefly Music Festival in June. Suffice it to say, Vita and the Woolf are gaining some much-deserved attention.

What better way to kick off this journey than the release of the dark and driven pop track  called “Feline”? Taking cues from the title, “Feline” possesses an almost predatory, hungry tone throughout the song. Beginning in Lorde-esque fashion, it starts with minimalist beats and layered vocals. Between warped, static synth lines, the chorus builds into a storm of dark, powerful soul, driven by Jennifer Pague’s otherworldly, unique voice and ominously twisted synth sounds.

Don’t miss out when Vita and the Woolf brings the tour back to Philly at Ortlieb’s on April 21st.  Find more info on tickets over at the XPN Concert Calendar, and listen to “Feline” below.
