Waxahatchee leads a fundraiser for the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. the Philadelphia-via-Alabama musician released a pair of critically acclaimed records in Cerulean Salt and Ivy Tripp. Tonight, her solo set is preceded by Mary Lattimore and Hot Tears. The Magnetic Fields begin their two-night extravaganza at Union Transfer tonight. Over the course of two shows Stephen Merritt and his band will share the full 50-song tracklist of their new 50 Song Memoir LP, beginning with half tonight. Ladysmith Black Mambazo have circled back through town for a show at World Cafe Live tonight. The South African ensemble rose to international prominence after a collaboration with Paul Simon in 1984, though their popularity in South Africa dates back to their early 1960s beginnings. Watch a performance of “Homeless” below and pick up tickets for the all-ages concert here.
