Swedish songwriter Jens Lekman will bring his idiosyncratic pop stylings to Union Transfer tonight in support of his latest album, Life Will See You Now. It features the infectious lead single “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?”, probably the most romantic song about smells I’ve heard. Stream the video for the track below. Then, head over to XPN’s Concert Calendar for tickets and more info on the show.

West Philly quartet Sheena and Thee Nosebleeds will headline Kung Fu Necktie tonight with Doghouse Charlie, Maryse Smith, and Brittany Thomas. Their debut full length, The Revolution Will Be Amplified dropped last year. Stream a triptych of fiery new demos they dropped last month below, and find tickets and more info here. For liability’s sake, this show is not guaranteed to be a revolution, but it will be amplified. I can promise you that.

Funky synth slingers Octave Cat will headline Johnny Brenda’s tonight with Muscle Tough and Air is Human. Their self-titled debut dropped last week, and you can stream it below in all its squelching, groovy glory. For tickets and more information on the show, head over to XPN’s Concert Calendar.

Amos Lee at American Music Theater (8:00 p.m., AA, $53)
