Self-professed “sad alternative girl” Abi Reimold has just announced that she will join The Districts on tour this April. Her last official release was 2016’s Wriggling, but she’s been keeping busy since then with a string of local dates, an appearance on an ACLU-benefitting covers compilation, and a Little Elephant session where she debuted a new song, “Workshop”. She and her band will rendezvous with their tourmates in Albany for a 4/12 gig at The Hollow.

Last month, The Districts premiered the first single off their upcoming album, “Ordinary Day”. They quickly followed it up with an extensive stint at SXSW, and they’re sure to continue debuting new material as they tour through to the summer. While a Philly stop has yet to be announced, The Districts and Reimold will play Lancaster’s the Chameleon Club on Friday, April 28th. For a full list of dates, check out the tour poster below.
