Local indie-pop favorites Cruisr will headline an ACLU Benefit show tonight at Ortlieb’s. Though the trio’s been taking some time away to work on their new album, their single “Take That” is playfully peppy enough to keep fans jamming until the release. Rounding out the lineup for the night will be local synth-pop extraordinaires, Suburban Living, and beachy-punk outfit, Cold Fronts. Get more info on the 21+ show here, and listen to Cruisr’s infectious track “Take That” below.

Tift Merrit will be sweeping World Cafe Live’s downstairs stage with her powerful country-folk in celebration of her latest album, Stitch of the World. Opening for Merritt will be Eric Slick of Dr. Dog, so it’s pretty certain that this will be a night of wonderful tunes. Find out more info at the XPN Concert Calendar and listen to “Stitch of the World” below.

Philly folk singer-songwriter, Lily Mae, will be taking over the upstairs stage at World Cafe Live when she opens for Oakland indie-Americana act, T Sisters.  Mae’s recent release of EP, Closer, features seven intimate, acoustic ballads, which are sure to be amazing live. Get more info on the show here and listen to the defiantly spunky Closer track, “Diamond,” below.
