Brooklyn-based singer, Kelsey Byrne, makes dark, indie electro-pop under the moniker, VERITE. She’s been releasing a slew of infectious singles and EP’s since 2014, with her debut album, Somewhere In Between, due out on June 23rd. Before then, you can experience VERITE’s expansive sound fill Union Transfer tonight when she opens for Betty Who. Find more info on tickets here and watch the tour video of VERITE’s awesome cover of The 1975’s, “Somebody Else,” below.

New Jersey rockers Pine Barons are returning to Philly at Kung Fu Necktie tonight. Though a new album is still in the works, you can get by until then by listening to member, Keith Abrams’s, lo-fi project, Tremellow. And, you know, also by seeing the band live tonight. Get info on the 21+ show at the XPN Concert Calendar, and listen to their track, “Clowns,” below.

Local retro garage rock band, Secret Nudist Friends, will be taking over The Barbary tonight along with The Big Drops, Honeytiger, and When Ships Collide. Not only does this three-piece make some awesome low-key grooves, they also are inhabitants of the crucial DIY space, Trash House. Find more info on the 21+ show here and listen to their EP, Susan, below.
