Philly/Pittsburgh singer-songwriter Joy Ike heads out to Phoenixville for a show at Steel City Coffeehouse tonight. A few days ago Ike posted a newsletter update in which she announced news of a new album, her first in four years following 2013’s All or Nothing. Tickets and information for tonight’s set, which opens Lili Añel’s record release show, can be found here. Watch Ike perform “Walk” below.

The Lawsuits have kept things pretty quiet for the last month or so after wrapping up a midwestern / northwestern tour earlier this year, but tonight the local outfit steps out in Philly for a show at Johnny Brenda’s. Joined by Hollis Brown and The Vernes, it will be a fine opportunity to get back into The Lawsuits’ excellent 2016 LP Moon Son and perhaps see what they have lined up next. Check out “Hail Storm” below and pick up tickets for the 21+ show here.

A slew of local acts will congregate at the Ardmore Music Hall tonight in celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Black Crowes’ Southern Harmony and Musical Companion record. Taller will perform the album in its entirety, joined by special guests Nik Greeley, Ali Wadsworth, XPN’s Dan Reed, Pawnshop Roses, and more. Tickets and information for the 21+ tribute show can be found here. Watch “Remedy” below.
