Philly-founded electro duo Marian Hill returns hope with a performance at the TLA tonight. Mixing lead singer, Samantha Gongol’s jazzy stylings with Jeremy Lloyd’s cool, hypnotic beats, the group is a perfect balance of old-school swing and fresh production. Find info on the show at the XPN Concert Calendar, and watch the video for their addicting song, “Down,” below.

Coming off a completely crunchy set at this past week’s NonCOMM, indie rock staples Pixies are gracing the Electric Factory tonight. Along with a smattering of old jams, you can expect to hear some new, equally slow-burning beauts off the band’s latest album, Head Carrier. Find more info on the show here, and moodily jam away to the classic “Where is My Mind” below.
