Macy Gray‘s back, folks. And she’s not slowing down one bit.  After releasing the jazz-infused album, Stripped, back in September, Gray continues to show her endless talents with a recent single “White Man.” While also being an insanely catchy, dance-able tune, the single also serves as a socially-conscious, empowering anthem. Don’t miss Macy Gray perform this and classics alike at The Ardmore Music Hall tonight. Find more info on tickets here, and watch the inspiring video for “White Man” below.

Longtime Philly folk fave, Chris Kasper, is throwing a record release party tonight at World Cafe Live for his new album, O, The Fool. Having previewed some of his new tunes at Kasper’s Free at Noon set a couple weeks back, this new album showcases the best of Kasper’s wanderlust tales through twang-filled greatness and easy-going, raspy vocals. Hear the new songs live tonight, and find info on the show here. Listen to the breezy track, “City By The Sea” below.

Self-described “sometime’s lo-fi, sometime’s not” locals Telyscopes will be bringing their awesomely strange, upbeat indie vibes to The Barbary tonight. Check out their recently-released EP “Tabby’s Star” below and keep an eye out for the full album release titled High Fidelity Drag on July 14th. Get more info on the 21+ show here.
