Last week, Liam Gallagher released “Wall Of Glass,” the lead single from his forthcoming album, As You Were. Gallagher and his brother Noel formed the internationally acclaimed Manchester Britpop band Oasis in 1991, with Liam going on to front Beady Eye until 2014.

Gallagher released the studio version of the new song last Wednesday, May 31st, just a day after he debuted the new song, along with six others from the record, during a benefit show, which aided families of the Manchester suicide bombing. Gallagher also was a surprise guest when he showed up at the #OneLoveManchester concert to perform “Live Forever” with Chris Martin of Coldplay.

“Wall Of Glass” has an instantaneous “Wall of Oasis” sound. Announcing its grand opening with harmonica wails and bursts of power chords, the song is ridiculously great (with a video equally as good), hearkening back to the thunderous power of Oasis at the top of their game. Watch the video below.
