If you were at the Non-COMM Music Meeting last month, you got some insider information that Deer Tick would be releasing new material this fall. News went public last week when the band announced not one but two (!) new albums, both set to drop on September 15th via Partisan Records, and today they’re piling on a Twice Is Nice Tour that stops at Union Transfer on December 1st.

Comprised of an acoustic set followed by an electric set, the Twice Is Nice shows will be a 360 showcase of the outfit’s catalog. The new records run the genre gamut as well, with Deer Tick Vol. 1 featuring the classic Deer Tick folk rock sound and Deer Tick Vol. 2 jumping into the edgy waters of punk and power pop.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16th and will be available on the XPN Concert Calendar. Below, listen to “Sea of Clouds” from Vol. 1 and “It’s A Whale” from Vol. 2.
