Ahead of his upcoming album release, alternative hip-hop artist Kuf Knotz is stepping back onto the stage. Originally from Philadelphia but now residing in New York, Knotz will be making six stops throughout June and July between his two homes where he will be sure to mix previews of tracks from the new record with his 2015 LP A Positive Light. You can hear his upbeat, positive vibes at Bourbon and Branch with Roots of a Rebellion and Wild Adriatic. Check out the details at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Philly singer-songwriter Carolyn Thorn will be performing at Bob and Barbara’s Lounge, bringing her raw and vulnerable sound to South Street. Thorn is currently working on new material for an LP to follow her EP Standing, which was released earlier this year. The show is free and 21+. For more information, click here.

Philly hip-hop / groove rock visionaries Killiam Shakespeareheadline Johnny Brenda’s in Fishtown tonight. Last year, the band released its mixtape Killiam Season 1, and the production duo of Corey Bernhard, Steve McKie and Chris Turner will bring their expansive, multiinstrumental party to the Johnny Brenda’s stage tonight.
