UPDATE: Tonight’s Clap Your Hands Say Yeah show at Parks on Tap has been cancelled due to illness. Kicking off Parks on Tap’s Twilight Music Festival tonight are local indie heroes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Instead of one long day of tunes, this festival is broken up into weekly installments happening Sundays on MLK Drive. Find more info on the 21+ festival here and watch the video for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s recent video for their track, “Down.”

Nuevofest at FringeArts

NPR’s World Cafe teams up with Philly’s AfroTiano Productions today for the 2017 edition of Nuevofest, a day-long celebration of contemporary music from Latin America including La Vida Bohéme, a modern rock band from Venezuela; Javiera Mena, an electronic pop artist and producer from Chile and more. The show is free with RSVP, so do that here.

Local hip-hop duo NoHeadliner doesn’t skimp on breezy soul — their recently shared project, Respek My Authoritah, oozes it. So expect some easy, edgy vibes tonight when they perform at The Barbary. Listen to “Cohen’s Cruise” below and find info on tickets at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Ziggy Marley will be bringing his rhythmic, reggae zest to The Mann Center tonight. The son of iconic Bob Marley, expect original tunes — such as 2016’s “Butterflies” featured below — as well as a few important covers (coughs “One Love.”) Find more info on the show over at the XPN Concert Calendar.
