Penn’s Landing is the place to be on Thursday nights – Spruce Street Harbor Park presents local artists for a free summer concert series in its awesome waterfront space, and tonight is one not to miss. Hip hop sensation Chill Moody will perform with The Bul Bey, and it is sure to be an evening of chill and breezy summer vibes. For more information, click here.

Local folky modern rock duo Mt. Joy returns to Philadelphia for a hometown show tonight at Johnny Brenda’s. The band is currently on a summer tour before heading back out on the road to support The Lone Bellow in the fall. We are still waiting on a debut album, but it is very much in the works. Watch Mt. Joy’s newest music video for “Sheep” below and visit the XPN Concert Calendar for more information on the 21+ show.

Philly trio Secret Nudist Friends will be at Bourbon and Branch tonight for a 21+ show along with Madame West, Past Life, and Talk Louder. The garage-basement-fuzz outfit is celebrating band member Matty’s birthday, a release of their Susan EP on cassette, and the kick-off of their summer tour. Check out the XPN Concert Calendar for more details.
