1964 – The Beatles start recording their fourth album (Beatles For Sale, not yet titled) at EMI studios in London.

1969 – The Beatles finish recording “I Want You (She’s So Heavy).”

1982 – Vanity 6 release their self-titled debut, and The Go-Go’s release their third album, Vacation.

1989 – Bruce Springsteen joins Ringo Starr onstage at a concert in New Jersey. Together they perform “Get Back,” “Long Tall Sally,” “Photograph,” and “With A Little Help From My Friends.”

2008 – Noah and the Whale’s debut album Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down is released on the Mercury/Vertigo label. Laura Marling, who is a member of the band at the time of recording but leaves soon after to focus on her solo career, is featured as a vocalist on the album.
