New York synth-rocker Frankie Rose released her latest album Cage Tropical today and celebrates with a headlining gig at Johnny Brenda’s tonight. It’s a record rooted in sci-fi and ‘80s pop influences — read more on that in The Key’s own Rob Huff’s Q&A with Rose earlier this week. Joining her on the bill are Tempers and Sad Heaven. Doors for the 21+ show open at 8 p.m. For tickets and more information, head to the XPN Concert Calendar.

Philly lo-fi punks URSULA will join French Vanilla, Dark Web and Lizdelise at PhilaMOCA tonight. The duo hasn’t released a new album in two years, but new material is said to be in the works. For now, enjoy some pre-show listening material from their 2015 release Hair Salon — a personal favorite has to be “president garfield’s spaghetti intestines.” Tickets to the 8 p.m. show can be found here.

Philly ’90s rockers Huffamoose headline Milkboy tonight. The band took off after forming in the early ’90s and signed to Interscope Records in 1994. But the big label life in California never panned out for them, and they eventually returned to the area to record in Ardmore’s Chill Factor Studios. Now decades later, the band has reunited and played around the area this summer. Stargazer Lily will open the 21+ show. Doors are 7:30 p.m. For more information, head here.

Marah at Ardmore Music Hall: (8 p.m., 21+, $25)
