Multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Dhani Harrison (the only son of the late George Harrison) is releasing his debut solo album, IN///PARALLEL, on October 6th.
Dhani (pronounced in English as “Danny”) is the only son of the late Beatle and his second wife, Olivia Harrison. While there is no mistaking how he looks and sounds his father, Dhani has been making his own unique mark in the music. He formed the alternative rock band thenewno2, was a member of Fistful of Mercy with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur, and has scored television shows. In keeping his father’s great work and memory alive, Harrison has performed in tributes to him with numerous musicians including Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty.
“All About Waiting” is an urgent, pulsing synth-driven rock song with a chorus of layered harmonies that sounds like a cross between Muse and the Traveling Wilburys, a band that Dhani’s father was in with Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison. Listen to it below.
