Founding Beach Boy Brian Wilson is currently on a world tour for the 50th Anniversary of Pet Sounds. The tour comes to the American Music Theatre in Lancaster tonight. During the previous shows for his tour, Wilson has been accompanied by a full band of multiple guitars, percussion, keyboards, and bassists to capture the full effect of such a sonically important album as Pet Sounds. You can listen to the soundcheck and performance of his Wallingford, CT show here. Tickets and more information on the the Lancaster, PA show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Eclectic punk rock group Taiwan Housing Project is set to take the stage at PhilaMOCA for a raucous solo show tonight. After releasing Veblen Death Mask and playing a slew of North American dates in August, the group is back on the road for a couple Northeast dates in September. Taiwan Housing Project has a unique set of musicianship among its members–ranging from avant garde alto sax tracks all the way to shrieking guitar riffs and highly intellectual vocals. Listen to the record below and find tickets and more information on the show here.
