The brand new Frank Zappa documentary, Summer ’82: When Zappa Came to Sicily…, will make its local premiere at PhilaMOCA on November 17th, with the iconic guitarist and band-leader’s son Dweezil Zappa in attendance.

The film, directed by filmmaker and self-proclaimed Zappa obsessive Salvo Cuccia, documents Zappa’s controversial tour in Sicily which ran into public disturbances and police interferences, concluding with a concert in Palermo. This documentary takes a look at Zappa during his heyday and gives fans a look into an incredible part of Zappa that probably was not visible just from his music. Tickets will go fast for this premiere; pick up yours here, and check out this extended trailer for the documentary.
