UK born, Paris-based Kate Stables works under the moniker, This is the Kit. Whether leading the songs with softly comforting or spritely vocals, lyrical matter isn’t afraid to turn dark corners on her latest release, Moonshine Freeze. Watch the playfully off-kilter video for the groovy recent track, “Hotter Colder,” below. Then, see This Is The Kit tonight at Johnny Brenda’s, with more info on the 21+ show available at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Dane Galloway is quite the musical multi-tasker around the scene here, playing in both My Son Bison and Vita and the Woolf. Tonight, though, you can expect to hear Galloway’s solo stylings at Underground Arts for a Hurricane Relief show hosted by Good Behavior Records. The bill for the night is packed, with sets also from Night Bloom, Joey Sweeney & The Neon Grease, The Undercover Dream Lovers, and Grubby Little Hands — so go on and get your tickets for the 21+ gig here.

It’s Pr0g-0-Ween night at the Pharmacy and the venue’s Facebook event advertises the night best: “Let’s celebrate the scariest day of one of the scariest years in recent history by dressing inappropriately and listening to music that will piss off granny!” Heavy rockers Endless Taile headline the gig, and hey, maybe your grandmother would really groove to them. Test it out by streaming their EP, Blood From A Stone, below; then find more info on the show here.
