Tonight’s Concert Picks: Grizzly Bear at The Fillmore, Habib Koité at World Café Live, Taxes at Connie’s Ric Rac

Following the release of their new LP Painted Ruins, widely acclaimed indie rock act Grizzly Bear will make a stop at The Fillmore tonight. The band spent two years working on the highly anticipated new album, which is their first release since 2012’s Shields. Malian guitarist Habib Koité is one of Africa’s most celebrated musicians, coming from a long line of traditional troubadours. He’ll make an appearance at World Café Live downstairs tonight, along with his band Bamada. Koité is known for his innovative style of guitar playing which draws on the variety of Malian musical styles. Find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
