Electric Light Orchestra hasn’t played Philadelphia since 1981, but they’re back to end next summer at Wells Fargo Center on August 24th. This is huge news for fans of the band, because chances to see this group are rare. Tickets go on sale November 17th at 10 a.m., so make sure you’re by a computer, because this one will go fast.

Electric Light Orchestra changed their name to Jeff Lynne’s ELO in 2014 following the formation of several imitation ELO bands so as to clear up any confusion. In 2015, the band put out their album Alone in the Universe, which was the ELO’s first release in 15 years that featured new material. Last year, ELO played a 19-date European tour, and the LIVE 2018 limited US tour is set to begin on August 2nd in Oakland, California, and ending here in Philadelphia.

Full dates are below. Tickets and more information on the Wells Fargo Center date can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
