While he’ll always be a Philadelphian to us, the singer, guitarist, songwriter and rocker Ron Gallo is now based in Nashville, and has gotten together with the Seattle indie rock trio Naked Giants to release a split 7-inch via New West Records. The single features his new song, “Sorry Not Everybody Is You,” backed with Naked Giants’ “The Age Of Information.”

Gallo, who has continued to support his recent album, Heavy Meta, since its release last February, returns to Philly with Naked Giants on Tuesday, November 21st to the First Unitarian Church. File both of these songs under maximum rock ‘n’ roll. While Gallo delivers his usual high energy, crafty dose of guitar rock, Naked Giants’ “The Age Of Information” is a surprisingly fresh and peppy take on garage rock with a spiritual musical nod to early Velvet Underground and The Who.
