If you’ve been loving XPN’s Gotta Hear Song(s) of the Week, which come in the form of two tracks off a split EP from Ron Gallo and Naked Giants, then deciding which show to attend tonight is easy. Both artists will appear at the First Unitarian Church, and it’s Gallo’s first “homecoming” show since the February release of Heavy Meta (Gallo moved from Philly to Nashville a while back, but we’ll still claim him as our own). Find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.

Cult favorite of the rap world Kool Keith likes to make an appearance at Kung Fu Necktie once every year or so, and tonight is that night. A founding member of Ultramagnetic MCs and World Traveler, Kool Keith has released a few dozen records since he got his start in the 80s. Deca, Sudo Williams, and Chuck N Lock join him for tonight’s show. In addition to general admission, a meet and greet package is also available — find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.

(UPDATE: 10:28 a.m.: David Crosby’s appearance at Scottish Rite Auditorium has been cancelled. Official statement from the promoter: “David Crosby is under the weather and unable to perform, and unfortunately needs to cancel his concert scheduled for Tuesday, November 21 at the Scottish Rite Auditorium. He hopes to return as soon as he can, and we wish him a speedy recovery. Refunds are available at point of purchase.”)

David Crosby‘s recent appearance on the World Cafe got us excited for his show at the Scottish Rite Auditorium tonight — excited enough to make a trip over the bridge to South Jersey. The folk icon and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young co-founder released his sixth solo album Sky Trails in September. Listen to Crosby perform three songs and talk with Talia Schlanger below via NPR Music, and find tickets and more information on tonight’s show on the XPN Concert Calendar.
