Lehigh Valley modern rock five piece Summer Scouts and their Philly peers Sonnder are the first artists to be added to the lineup of the Rock The Troc benefit concert. Taking place at The Trocadero in Chinatown on May 19th, the show will raise money for the music education nonprofit Play On Philly.

Summer Scouts’ latest album, Furthest Reach, is a collection of guitar-heavy anthems highlighted by lead singer Katherine DeMenno’s powerful vocals. They’re a band you’ll want to dance to. Sonnder, meanwhile, is still performing in support of Entanglement, an album comprised of singer Ryan Weidman’s song-a-month project from 2016.

Listen to music from both bands below; more groups are due to be added to the show, so keep tabs on that at its Facebook event page.
