H.O.V. takes the Wells Fargo Center stage for his next installment of his 4:44 world tour. The Brooklyn rap icon’s 13th LP is a monumental work, showing how Jay-Z is continually willing to challenge himself artistically and go outside of his comfort zone. The initial stops of the tour have been met with rave reviews, so consult the XPN Concert Calendar for more info and tickets.

Next on the docket for tonight is the Philly based experimental rock duo Lizdelise, playing Ortlieb’s. The emotional, melodious band released a self-titled record last year, and followed it up this year with a new song called “Tell Me” to mark its signing to Odd Gift Records. Consult the XPN Concert Calendar for tickets and more information on tonight’s show.

Earlier this year, Deer Tick released a highly lyrical and musically complex pair of records, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, exploring their fondness for both acoustic roots music and driving, Replacements-esque rock. Union Transfer hosts the Providence based outfit tonight for the next stop on their tour. Find tickets at the XPN Concert Calendar.
