Rapsody was last seen in Philly at this year’s Made in America Festival, and the city’s been awaiting her return ever since. The North Carolina MC and hip-hop artist brings her “Wisdom is Power” tour to The Foundry tonight in support of her debut solo album Laila’s Wisdom, released earlier this fall. Watch Rapsody’s video for “Power” below, featuring Kendrick Lamar. Find tickets and more information on tonight’s show on the XPN Concert Calendar.

Philly rock trio Petunia make an appearance at Kung Fu Necktie tonight to celebrate the release of their latest EP Dailies, and the band promises it’ll be a party. Thick Red Wine also plays, plus a DJ set from Cold Fronts. Even better news — the show is free. Watch Petunia’s video for “Got A Job,” off the new EP, below and find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar and on the show’s event page.

Kississippi has been a Philly DIY favorite for a few years now, and the project of Zoe Reynolds plays sets around town pretty often — including tonight PhilaMOCA opening for Moving Mountains. Cave People also plays. Kississippi’s most recent release is the We Have No Future, We’re All Doomed EP, and rumor has it Reynolds has something new in the works. Revisit Kississippi’s Key Studio Session below and find tickets and more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
