Singer-songwriter vets, collaborators in The Both and good buds Aimee Mann and Ted Leo bring their fall tour to the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville tonight. Unlike their holiday extravaganza that hit Union Transfer a few years back, this show is simply two exemplary songwriters with new music under their belts; Mann released her latest record Mental Illness in the spring, while Leo dropped the excellent LP The Hanged Man in the fall. Tickets and more information on the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.

Harmony driven folk-pop ensemble Darlingside bring their dreamy tones (and new songs) to Musikfest Cafe tonight. The Boston band released their latest single, “Eschaton,” last month, and it blends pulsing electronics with their signature vocals and lyrics about the end of the world; listen to it below and get tickets and more information on the show here.

Indiana-born singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin is in the holiday spirit this fall, and brings his This Time of Year tour to the Ardmore Music Hall tonight. Philadelphia locals Maitland open the show; watch a new music video for “Hallelujah This Christmas” below and find more information on the show here.

Also Playing:

Lloyd Cole at the Sellersville Theater (8 p.m., $29 – $39.50, all ages)
