Smooth pop / rock staples Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers have just announced their “Summer of Living Dangerously” tour, a co-headlining jaunt that brings them around North America — including a stop at Camden, NJ’s BB&T Pavilion on Wednesday, July 11th. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 12th at noon, and more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.

For Steely Dan, it’s the band’s first run of appearances since the September, 2017 death of founding guitarist Walter Becker, one of the two core members of the band alongside lead singer and keyboardist Donald Fagen. Their last release was 2003’s Everything Must Go, while the Doobies’ current lineup of Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons and John McFee most recently released music in 2014 with Southbound.
