Dream Safari is back with a new single titled “Ruby Red.” We last heard from the project of Philly party promoter and DJ Chris Coulton back in 2016 with his EP Cobalt that incorporated jazz-infused elements, including the saxophone.

By comparison, “Ruby Red” is a personal song for Coulton. He described the overall theme as “Looking back while having so many years ahead of you.”  Coulton also told us that the title comes from the blinking red lights on radio towers that he would see on his way home, and the towers were a “comforting backdrop for both looking back and thinking forward.”

Dream Safari is performing at Milkboy on February 22nd with Max Swan, Rover Rover, and DJ SYLO. For more details click here, and below you can listen to Dream Safari’s new single “Ruby Red.”
