Local modern rock band The Morning Herald is based at Villanova, and they’re joining in on the celebration of their school’s historic NCAA tournament run with a new single release titled “Fall Back to Earth.”

The band’s style is influenced by The Killers, Oasis, Spoon, and Arcade Fire, and without a doubt, you can hear that gritty anthemic rock side shine through in “Fall Back to Earth”; those nasty guitar riffs and lead singer Zach Leone’s gravely vocals bring out the song’s classic rock n’ roll filth.

With the recent release, The Morning Herald also announced an upcoming show this Sunday, April 8th, at Ortlieb’s Lounge. The three-piece will be headlining with supporting performances from Daddy’s Beemer, Kodiak Park, and Water Temple. Tickets for their show can be purchased here.Below, jam out to The Morning Herald’s newest single “Fall Back to Earth” as well as watch some video teaser of the track here.
