Summer calls for live music outdoors, and lucky for us, Spruce Street Harbor Park delivers. The popular park along the Delaware River draws crowds all season long, but perhaps one of its best kept secrets is the Waterfront Sessions series, which showcases performances by local musicians every Thursday night throughout the summer. Better yet, all shows are free.

SSHP has only announced the June lineup so far, but it’s already looking pretty darn stacked. Harmony Woods has the honor of playing the first session before she joins us for #XPNFest later in the summer, and the following weeks bring folk rock singer-songwriter and former The Voice contestant Joshua Howard, jazz/funk/hip-hop/R&B/soul (yeah, all of those) collective Killiam Shakespeare, and rapper/singer Ivy Sole to the park.

Check out music from each of the featured artists below and keep your fingers crossed for good weather. Find more information on the Waterfront Sessions Facebook page and the XPN Concert Calendar.

Schedule
June 7 – Harmony Woods
June 14 – Joshua Howard Music
June 21 – Killiam Shakespeare
June 28 – Ivy Sole
