Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Shauf‘s upcoming solo tour doesn’t begin until November, but tickets are already selling out left and right — which makes sense, because who wouldn’t want to see Shauf, who usually commands stages the size of Union Transfer, play a tiny show at a space like PhilaMOCA with only an acoustic guitar and the promise of new songs? Lucky for us, that dream is about to come true this fall.
Aside from adding second shows in already-sold-out cities like LA and Chicago and New York, Shauf has found room to squeeze Philadelphia into his list of tour dates, with a PhilaMOCA show on Nov. 25. This’ll be Shauf’s first Philly show since May of last year, when he came to town supporting his 2016 album The Party, which received widespread acclaim for its strikingly melancholy songs.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 13; get ’em while they last on the XPN Concert Calendar.
