After Restorations release their new album LP5000 this fall, they’ll be making a stop at the First Unitarian Church for a proper hometown gig. The long-running Philly punk rockers have been through a time of changes since their last release a few years back, and for the new record they’ve been channeling those feelings of displacement and transition into new tunes, which we’ll finally be able to hear live at the Church on October 21. (Restorations also have a show at Spruce Street Harbor Park on August 2, but for that one they’ll be playing LP1 in its entirety.)

Last month Restorations shared the first single from the forthcoming record, “The Red Door,” an observant and emotional song about the realities of living in a changing city; today, they released a new music video for it, and you can watch it below. LP5000 is out September 28 via Tiny Engines, and you can preorder it here. Tickets for the October show go on sale this Friday, July 20. Find more information on that show as well as the August one on the XPN Concert Calendar.
