To celebrate the new tunes, the two bands have joined forces for a double record release show at the First Unitarian Church on September 22, with fellow Philadelphians So Totally and Cheer Up lined up as support.
Thin Lips’ new LP Chosen Family was released last week, and, as the title and cover would suggest, it pays musical tribute to the band’s friendships and support systems. Shannen Moser announced her new album, I’ll Sing, just yesterday with the single “Arizona (I Wanna Be Your Man).” It will be out Sept. 7.
Tickets for the co-headlining church gig are on sale now. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar and listen to a song from each artist below.
