Tis the season for the announcement of Halloween shows in Philly, and long-running indie pop trio Lemuria is the latest band to join in on the fun. They’ll play PhilaMOCA on the spooky holiday itself, Wednesday, October 31, though there’s no word yet on whether any special shenanigans are planned.
Lemuria has released four LPs (plus a bunch of singles, splits, compilations and other content) since forming in Buffalo in 2004, and last month the band shared Companion, which serves as an accompaniment to last year’s Recreational Hate. We last saw them at the Church in 2017 on a tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album Get Better. Fellow Buffalo-rooted band Bethlehem Steel will open the upcoming show.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 10. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar and listen to Companion below.
