Bri Steves lays it down in her new single “Ain’t Sh*t”
From Lil Uzi Vert to Tierra Whack, Philly has spent the past few years re-claiming its spot in the rap game. Now, it is all about the come-up of Bri Steves, who is the latest MC to come out of the City of Brotherly Love. She has opened for artists such as Freeway and Dave East then last week at Made In America, Kendrick Lamar stopped mid-set and brought out the 23 year old on stage to perform her debut single “Jealousy” in front of thousands of people.
On Friday,, Bri Steves released a new single titled “Ain’t Sh*t”, produced by BNYX, and it bumps.
The Atlantic-signed MC gets aggressive as she spits her truth under some hard beats. The song expresses that #girlboss vibe which is how she plans to theme her upcoming not yet titled debut project. The message she is voicing with the debut project is for women to be unapologetic when standing up for what they believe in.
There have been multiple hints from the Philly native that Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih and Miguel might be listed as features on her debut project, even though the release date is unknown.
