Until this past summer, Jeff Lynne’s ELO (formerly Electric Light Orchestra) hadn’t played a show in Philadelphia since 1981. But this time around, the wait in between shows will be much, much shorter — the band just announced another North American tour next summer, which will bring them back to the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO released its latest album, Alone in the Universe, in 2015; it was their first release featuring new material in 15 years (the name change happened in 2014, Lynne’s response to an unwelcome influx of Electric Light Orchestra imitation bands). Tickets go on sale October 29 at 10 a.m. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
