Since she moved to Philadelphia, we’ve seen Kayleigh Goldsworthy on the bill at lots of shows around town, including two Roger Harvey Family gigs. Now, the local singer-songwriter has announced her first headlining show in her new hometown. Goldsworthy will play a show upstairs at World Cafe Live on Saturday, February 16 with Jesse Barki.
The Syracuse native has lived in NYC, Southern California, and Nashville over the years, before settling in Philly recently. In November, Goldsworthy released All These Miles, her first EP in five years — she’s kept busy lately as a touring member of several other bands, including Dave Hause’s. She’s currently wrapping up a tour with Bayside, where she’s been opening for and playing in the band.
