After playing increasingly larger venues over the last few years, Tash Sultana has just announced her biggest Philly show yet. The Australian singer-songwriter will headline The Met on May 17; folk duo Pierce Brothers will open.
Tash Sultana released her debut full-length, Flow State, in August. The Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist has been described as a “one person band”, and in addition to writing and performing the songs on Flow State, she also arranged and produced the album, and released it on her own label, Lonely Lands Records. Tash’s last local appearance was in June of last year at The Fillmore; she also played Union Transfer the previous fall — find a recap of that show here.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 25 at 10 a.m. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
