The last time Australian punk trio Camp Cope was in town, their second LP How To Socialise and Make Friends was brand new and they played back-to-back sold-out shows at PhilaMOCA on a co-headlining run with Petal. Now they’re back for round two: a headlining show in the basement of the First Unitarian Church on Saturday, April 27th.
Socialise was a major leap forward for the Melbourne trio, who used the album to address themes of music industry sexism (“The Opener”), toxic relationships and friendships (the title track), and trauma in the wake of the loss of a loved one (“I’ve Got You”).
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, February 8th at 10 a.m., more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
