The annual Roots Picnic returns to Philly’s Fairmount Park to kick off the month of June this year, and it’s a jam-packed lineup. Touching down on June 1st and June 2nd, the centerpiece is a celebration of the music of New Orleans with The Roots and Lil Wayne as well as PJ Morton, Trombone Shorty, and more. Philly soul queen Jill Scott is also slated to perform, along with André 3000 — who released the stunning ambient album New Blue Sun last year — Queensbridge rap icon Nas, celebrated emerging singer Victoria Monét and more. On the Philly side of the lineup, in addition to The Roots and Jill Scott, emerging artists Kenya Vaun and Chioke are featured in the undercard.

The lineup totals 33 artists, with an additional 7 DJs and podcasters in the mix, and goes on sale this Friday, February 23rd at 10 a.m. More information can be found at the WXPN Concert Calendar. Full lineup below!
