This weekend, our friends to the north Boston hosted the annual Hot Stove Cool Music benefit concert run by Chicago Cubs owner Theo Epstein.

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder was in attendance, and pulled out all the stops for his performance, covering Talking Heads to The Who, Aerosmith to The Rolling Stones, and most importantly, “Bobby Jean” by Bruce Springsteen himself. Watch Eddie Vedder sing “Bobby Jean” with Bruce Springsteen in Seattle

Continuing a trend of treating his audiences to some special surprises, Bruce Springsteen brought Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder out on stage during a concert in Seattle last night. The crowd went wild for the Seattle native, while Springsteen joked that he “gets booed in [his] hometown.” The pair performed “Bobby Jean” from Springsteen’s Born in the USA in a style that was clearly full of admiration and excitement.
