Just Announced: Hilary Woods to play intimate Church Side Chapel show

Experimental Dublin artist Hilary Woods recently announced a limited number of U.S. Fall Tour dates for this summer, New York, Chicago, and, yes, Philadelphia’s First Unitarian Side Chapel among those few stops. Woods’ quiet, ethereal sound has been described by critics as “bewitching,” “ominous and dreamlike.” After reading about her solo performances, looping piano melodies and layering vocals throughout the set, the closest live experience I can think to relate this to is harpist Mary Lattimore’s.
