Aughties hip-hop supergroup, Jurassic 5, are bringing their old-school vibes to the TLA tonight. Comprised of DJs Numark and Cut Chemist, and MC’s Chali 2na, Zaakir, Akil and Mark 7even, the group was formed at LA’s The Good Life cafe, and was incredibly influential in the West Coast underground scene. Summertime is for outdoor venues, and Tedeschi Trucks BandSharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and special guest Doyle Bramhall II will take on a slew of al fresco venues for TTB’s Wheels of Soul tour this summer. Local outfit Divers headline Boot & Saddle tonight.  The dark-rock four-piece, comprised of Emily Ana Zeitlyn, Ross Bellenoit, Todd Erk and Tom Bendel, is finishing up a new record that was funded by fans through a PledgeMusic campaign.  Divers recorded a Key Studio Session in 2013; check out “Eggshells” from the session below and learn more about the new record here, which is set for a release on December 15th.  Tickets and information for tonight’s show can be found here.
