Fear of Men are back with sophomore release Fall Forever. While the themes of their debut Loom still linger on this release, the sound takes a dramatic turn for the dark. More experimental and more unafraid to dive into the depths, it will be interesting to see them take the stage in support of their new material. They’ll be performing in Philly tonight at Johnny Brenda’s for a 21+ show. Check out the grimy video for “Trauma” below. Tickets and more info can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar. Philly alt-rock band Andorra recently put out their new single “Indian Queen”, the first track since last year’s etc, etc, etc…, which was released in 2015.

The song, which premiered over at Rock On Philly last month, brings up memories of Pinkerton-era Weezer with its hammering guitars and shifting rhythms and time signatures. Vocalist Kevin McCall sings, “I think that I could stay here forever as long as it’s with you”, professing innocent love and nostalgic memories while toasting to both the past and the future. The Philly four-piece kicked off the year with a bang by releasing their debut LP Etc, Etc, Etc…  and have since gigged around Philly from Festival Pier to World Cafe Live. All of these important band events are captured in the “Year In Review” video, which you can check out below. The band also gives a glimpse into what goes on off stage, as the video intersperses shots of the guys simply hanging out, eating hot dogs, practicing in living rooms and getting ice cream from Mister Softee. Alt-rock four piece Andorra have a fun new video for their track “6AM” off LP etc, etc, etc…The video opens with singer Kevin McCall looking disgruntled amidst his peers at a fancy dinner party. You can sense his claustrophobic agitation thanks to the fish eye camera that squares in on his face until switching to a shot of the full band in a more comfortable scenario — behind their instruments.
