90s rockers The Muffs are on tour in support of 2014’s Whoop De Doo, their first album of new songs in a decade. The LA outfit may have been on a recording hiatus for those interim years, but their influence stayed visible; local outfit Littler just covered the band’s “Big Mouth” track (listen here), and their debut LP was re-released by Omnivore Records last summer. Just Announced: Azealia Banks is coming to The Electric Factory in November

The fiery personality of New York rapper Azealia Banks will be on display first hand on November 18th at the Electric Factory.  The emcee burst on the scene in 2011 with her Kanye West-cosigned single “212” and since has been in a lane of her own infusing club dance music and hIp-hop. Her latest album Broke With Expensive Taste was released last year after a long delay – and due to further industry snafus, it could be the last thing we get from Banks until 2016. In any case, her Factor show is not one to miss; check out the video for “Ice Princess” below, and get tickets when they go on sale this Friday at noon.
